The one-woman road trip continues:

I had some great stuff to post Saturday night — photos of Lake Michigan sand and sunset, the Episcopal church where I was baptized (a little late) at the age of 10, and Pentwater’s famous Antler Bar.

Trouble is, I actually went inside the Antler Bar and there I had one beer too many. Which meant I got back to my B&B too late to put up the post I’d planned for Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Actually, it wasn’t one beer too many. It was one conversation at the bar too many. It was after Labor Day, most of the summer folks had gone home, and many of the patrons at the Antler Bar Saturday were locals.

Friendly local people who liked to talk, who didn’t mind hearing all about my book, and were quick to buy a stranger a beer. One too many maybe.
