The society is hoping that President Obama will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Even if the President doesn&#8217;t make it, attendees will hear <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rickwarren.com\/\">Rick Warren<\/a>\u00a0of <a href=\"http:\/\/saddleback.com\/visit\/about\/new-here\">Saddleback Church<\/a> participate in a panel discussion along with noted Islamic scholar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Dm9tKqjp18Y&amp;feature=related\">Hamza Yusuf<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Islamic Society expects the conference to attract 40,000 Muslims from across the country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is critical for us to have positive relationships with people of other faiths,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sayyid_Syeed\">Sayyid Syeed <\/a>of the Islamic Society.
