And a gorgeous mystery blossom that I&#8217;m hoping you can help identify.<\/p>\n<p>For me, the most enchanting designs\u00a0are the ones that rely almost entirely on flowers and other vegetation &#8212; seed pods, tulip bulbs, cabbages.\u00a0Andrea Frenkel&#8217;s bouquet to\u00a0the 19th century painting, &#8220;A Celtic Huntress,&#8221;\u00a0does this beautifully. The huntress&#8217;s hair,<!--more--> dress and fleshy shoulders are captured subtly with living leaves and blossoms.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for me and my preferences, more designers than ever\u00a0seem to be\u00a0 relying on strips of metal,\u00a0sheets of plastic, or\u00a0sprayed-on metallic paint to make their artistic statements\u00a0this year. The artificial to natural ratio is creeping up.
