The one-woman road trip continues:<\/p>\n

I had some great stuff to post Saturday\u00a0night — photos of Lake Michigan sand and sunset, \u00a0the Episcopal church where I was baptized (a little late) at the age of 10, and Pentwater’s famous Antler Bar.<\/p>\n

Trouble is, I actually went inside the Antler Bar<\/a> and there I had one beer too many. Which meant I got back to my B&B\u00a0too late to put up the post\u00a0I’d planned for\u00a0Saturday night\/Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Actually, it wasn’t one beer too many. It was one conversation at the bar too many. It was after Labor Day,\u00a0most of the summer folks had gone home, and many of the patrons at the Antler Bar Saturday were locals.<\/p>\n

Friendly local people who liked to talk, who\u00a0didn’t mind hearing all about my book, and were quick to buy a stranger a beer. One too many maybe.<\/p>\n
