Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin kegel in “The Kominsky Method.”

Guys do kegels. I didn’t know that — until I saw actors Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin talking about their kegels back in Week 46 of the pandemic shutdown. I saw the two actors in an episode of “The Kominsky Method,” a Netflix original series about a couple of old guys getting older.

Inspired, I proceeded to write a post about Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, kegels and covid. You can find it at:

Fun fact: I interviewed Alan Arkin back in my 1960s movie reviewer days at Good Housekeeping magazine, probably when he was promoting his role in the fabulous thriller “Wait Until Dark,”  starring Audrey Hepburn.

I’m pretty sure the subject of kegels did not come up during our interview. I’m also pretty sure that, at that point in our lives, neither Alan Arkin nor I had a clue what a kegel was.
