Photo by Barbara Newhall<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To the delight of the score of book lovers who eschewed the\u00a0Republican convention TV coverage to hear her read, Julie\u00a0brought along &#8212; digitally &#8212; the star of her book, Bunker the golden retriever.<\/p>\n<h5>Julie Hill Barton and Think Piece Press<\/h5>\n<p>Published originally last year by Think Piece Press, &#8220;Dog Medicine&#8221;\u00a0found an eager audience of pet lovers as well as\u00a0folks who &#8212; like Julie &#8212; have suffered from depression or\u00a0childhood sibling abuse.
