Join me on Nov. 5 at Book Passage Corte Madera for a lively panel on women in the world of books.<\/p>\n

One hundred years ago, before women had even won the right to vote, an organization called Women’s National Book Association — the WNBA — was founded to support women writers, booksellers, publishers and editors.<\/p>\n

Today, the organization continues the tradition with a network of writing coaches, publishers, authors — women in the world of books. Its local chapter, WNBA-San Francisco, will celebrate its 100 years of women and books on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Book Passage book store in Corte Madera.<\/p>\n
