Photo by David Matheson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re a brand-new writer or writer of many years, you might want to read Carol Edgarian&#8217;s Letter to a Young Writer\u00a0in a back issue of Narrative Magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Carol&#8217;s letter is in response to Lauren Kunze, a\u00a0recent college graduate who says she wants to write but doesn&#8217;t know where to start.<\/p>\n<p>Narrative is\u00a0the on-line literary magazine\u00a0out of San Francisco that Carol edits with husband Tom Jenks. In order to read the piece, you have to sign up for a (free) subscription to Carol and Tom&#8217;s excellent<a href=\"http:\/\/www.narrativemagazine.com\/issues\/winter-2010\/letters-young-writer\"> magazine<\/a>.
