HR Manager

A Fargo company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee key human resources functions. This role reports to the Director of HR and will manage one direct report, while partnering closely with leadership to support employee relations, compliance, talent management, and overall HR strategy. Quarterly travel is required to support multiple locations and ensure consistent HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment laws
  • Support benefits administration, compensation planning, and policy development
  • Provide guidance on employee issues (roughly 300), conflict resolution, and organizational development
  • Lead HR reporting, metrics, and process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations in a multi-site environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel quarterly as needed
