Business Developer

A growing Midwest construction company is seeking a Business Developer to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong client and partner relationships. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on company strategy and long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and project pipeline growth
  • Identify and secure new construction opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, engineers, and key stakeholders
  • Lead sales efforts, including bids, negotiations, and contract execution
  • Oversee proposals, bids, and presentations for new projects
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth and market expansion
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or leadership within construction or related industries
  • Track record of driving growth and securing new projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Strategic thinker with solid analytical and financial skills
  • Experience with CRM systems, bidding processes, and sales tools
