We gutted the space and replaced the tub with a new tub and added a tile surround instead of the fiberglass one they had before. We also centered the sink on the new vanity.

We gutted the space and mostly kept the same layout but we changed the tub to a shower.

Project Details:
The homeowner wanted to update the hall bath, add a primary bath where there wasn’t one, and add some built in seating in the dining room. We were able to rework one of the existing bedrooms to steal some space to make room for the primary bath along with adding a larger closet to the bedroom we took some space from. A pocket door was installed to allow access to the new space. This project was an older home and the bedroom was on the second floor so we had to get the mechanicals from the second floor to the basement. We created a space inside a first floor closet to allow for this. We installed a walk-in shower, recessed shelf, rain head, half wall with glass on top, a dual vanity, and an additional area for storage. In the hall bath we kept the same layout and updated the finishes. The existing bath had mudset tile which took much effort to remove. We resurfaced the hall bathtub instead of replacing it. The wall tile wainscotting was changed to a wood wainscotting. In the dinning room we added the built in bench and installed wainscotting around the room.
