I did not choose technology. Technology chose me - through a father who believed that knowledge builds nations, and a family that proved service is its own kind of leadership.

— Farhana Hanip, President, PeopleNTech LLC

A Visionary Leader. A fierce advocate of Women in Tech. A Daughter Who Kept Her Promise.

I grew up watching my father working every single day with a powerful sense of purpose. His discipline and dedication to meaningful work became the foundation of everything I have built in my career. Inspired by him, I pursued a strong technical and leadership education.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity from Northern Virginia Community College, followed by an MBA in Business Leadership Management from George Washington University and George Mason University. I also hold several industry certifications, including Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Cisco CCNA, and Certified Ethical Hacker.

This technical foundation, combined with strategic business acumen, has defined my journey. Today, I serve as President of PeopleNTech LLC, an NMSDC-certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). I lead our global team in delivering high-quality Staffing and Workforce Solutions, Statement of Work (SOW) solutions, staff augmentation, and payroll services across the United States, India, and Canada. I also serve as Managing Director of PeopleNTech Software Ltd. and as CFO of Washington University of Science and Technology, where I focus on the intersection of technology, talent, and education.

Throughout my 20+ year career, I have remained deeply committed to inclusive workforce solutions and women’s empowerment in technology. As Director of the PeopleNTech Foundation and WUST Foundation, I support education and scholarships for women, youth, and underserved students in the US and Bangladesh. I actively mentor women and senior citizens through free ICT training programs and I advocate for women’s economic participation as a Champion Member of WIPP (Women Impacting Public Policy) in Washington, D.C. I am also a proud member of The Cyber Guild, focused on building a more secure and inclusive digital future.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: technology and talent solutions are most powerful when they create real opportunity and lasting impact.
Today, I continue this journey as a proud mother of three daughters. My children remain my greatest source of inspiration and grounding. They remind me every day that true leadership is not just about building successful organizations-it is about building a meaningful legacy rooted in service, integrity, and purpose.
Executive Leadership

What I Actually Do Every Day: Executive Leadership

“I spend my time building bridges. Between technology and the humans who deploy it. Between organizations that need specialized talent and the professionals whose careers are shaped by where they land. Between the ambitions of a growing business and the operational discipline required to make those ambitions real.”

One Thing I Believe

The most important technology we have is still the human one. The systems, the platforms, the AI tools, the certifications – they matter. I have spent two decades building competency in all of them. But they are multipliers. What they multiply is still human judgment, human connection, and the willingness to show up for work that is larger than yourself.
That is what my father taught me. That’s what my husband holds high. And that is what I try, every day, to carry forward.
