Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Invisalign® uses a series of custom-fitted clear aligners that gently shift your teeth over time. You’ll switch to a new set of aligners every 1–2 weeks, depending on your treatment plan.
Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case but typically ranges from 6 to 18 months.
Most patients experience mild pressure or discomfort when switching to a new aligner set, but it’s usually much less painful than traditional braces.
Aligners should be removed before eating or drinking anything other than water. This prevents staining and helps keep your aligners in good shape.
Rinse your aligners with lukewarm water and brush them gently with a soft toothbrush. Specialized cleaning crystals or solutions are also available for deeper cleaning.
